Acting proactively, the Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Jelena Perović, together with her colleagues, Assistant Director Boris Vukašinović and the Head of the Section for Implementation of Control Measures in Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns, Dušan Drakić, held a meeting with representatives of political entities participating in the upcoming presidential elections in Montenegro. The meeting was attended by authorized representatives of six presidential candidates, as well as the presidential candidate Jovan Radulović.

The representatives of the Agency informed the interlocutors about the obligations of political entities during the election campaign, deadlines, and detailed instructions regarding reporting on collected and spent funds, thus ensuring transparency in the electoral process. In addition, the activities of this institution in the election campaign were presented, with a particular focus on the planned controls that will be carried out.

During the conversation, emphasis was also placed on the work and financial operations of political entities in the campaign, that is, the permitted ways of collecting and spending funds.

By consistently applying legal regulations, the Agency for Prevention of Corruption will make a full contribution to the integrity and credibility of the election process.
