Participation of APC in the third plenary session of NCPA for 2022

The third plenary session of the Network of Corruption Prevention Authorities (NCPA) of the Council of Europe was held online on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, under the presidency of the National Transparency Agency of Greece (NTA), and with the participation of partners and representatives of members of the Network, among whom was Jovana Pejović, an employee of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption.

The main items on the agenda were the progress of the implementation of the annual action plan, as well as the accession of two new members, the newly established anti-corruption body of Cyprus and the Anti-Corruption Authority of Valencia.

The plenary session was opened by Aleksandra Rogakou, acting governor of NTA and head of the Inspection and Audit Unit.

Representatives of the coordination bodies of the Network's working groups informed about the progress achieved in the four pillars of the annual program: (1) Organization of a webinar on the topic of strengthening public integrity; (2) Publication of practical guides and tools in the field of corruption prevention; (3) Organization of joint missions to provide expertise and on-site assistance to members of the Network, and (4) Actions to promote NCPA expansion.

The Agency for Prevention of Corruption has been a member of the Network since October 2018.
