As part of the cooperation between the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the Embassy of the United States of America in Podgorica, Council President Momčilo Radulović, Director Jelena Perović and Assistant Director Boris Vukašinović met with James Arguin, senior legal advisor engaged at the US Embassy in the Rule of Law Program of the State Department Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), and legal advisor Ana Grgurević.

The leaders of the Agency presented the legislative framework for the prevention and suppression of corruption, and the efforts and actions of this body, which makes a visible contribution to the rule of law and strengthening the integrity of public administration.

As one of the examples of the successful practice of institutional development, the process of introducing the ISO 9001 quality management system, which takes place with the financial assistance of the US Embassy, ​​was stated.

Mr. Arguin, who recently started his mission in Montenegro, thanked for the useful information and pointed out that support to Montenegrin institutions in the fight against corruption is one of the priorities of the INL program.

The management of the Agency used the opportunity to introduce the distinguished guest with plans for the development of a new, significantly improved information system and improvement of the PR strategy, with the hope that the US Embassy will recognize the importance of these activities and support them.
