A meeting was held with representatives of the US Embassy

Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Jelena Perović and President of the Agency Council Momčilo Radulović held a meeting with representatives of the US Embassy on January 27, attended by Erik Larson, Senior Anti-Corruption Adviser at the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina and former Legal Adviser at the Podgorica Embassy Eric Larson, the new Attaché of the Embassy for Police Support Steven Monaco, the representative of the political section of the Embassy Siddha Page and the legal advisor at the Embassy Ana Grgurević. The meeting was organized in order to continue the successful cooperation between the Agency and the US Embassy in Montenegro.

The modalities of future cooperation were discussed at the meeting, during which the director Jelena Perović expressed gratitude for the significant support and assistance of the US Embassy in strengthening the capacity of the Agency. She introduced the representatives of the Embassy with the competencies of the Agency, activities and results of this institution, as well as priorities in future work.

The President of the Agency Council, Mr. Momčilo Radulović, informed the representatives of the US Embassy about the institutional positioning of the Agency as an independent body in relation to the three branches of government in Montenegro, with special emphasis on key activities and actions of the Agency in the period after its new management.

Mr. Eric Larson emphasized that the US Embassy will continue to provide support to the Agency, in order to further strengthen the capacity of this institution.
