In the spirit of good cooperation with the civil sector, the director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Jelena Perović and her colleagues met with representatives of the non-governmental organizations Center for Civil Liberties (CEGAS) and Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI).

The meeting was dedicated to the Agency's activities in the control and supervision of the campaign for local elections that will be held on October 23.

The head of the Section for Implementation of Control Measures in Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns, Dušan Drakić, informed the participants about the current events in that process, as well as about certain challenges that the Agency faces, which are conditioned by the legislative framework.

Representatives of the NGO sector agreed that practice has confirmed that there is room for discussion on amendments and improvements to the Law on Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns.
