Representatives of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, members of the Council Goranka Vučinić and Gavrilo Čabarkapa, and head of the Section for the Prevention of Conflicts of Interest of Public Officials Stefan Radunović, participated in the regional meeting of competent authorities for the implementation of legislations on conflicts of interest, which was organized on September 15 and 16, 2022 in Jahorina by the Association for the Fight against Corruption Transparency International BiH.

During the event, the topics of preserving the independence of bodies that implement legislation on conflict of interest, research, detection and sanctioning of conflicts of interest, as well as the submission of property records and data verification were covered.

The representatives of the Agency introduced the participants to the competences of this institution, as well as successful results, practices and actions in the areas of preventing conflicts of interest and submitting reports on income and assets. Experiences were exchanged with colleagues from the region in order to gain new insights for more effective prevention of corruption, improvement of existing mechanisms and finding ways to strengthen regional cooperation.
