Over a ten-month period, the APC, while acting on whistleblower reports, identified 32 cases of threats to the public interest indicating possible corruption.
The APC issued 57 recommendations to subjects to the Law aimed at strengthening transparency and reducing corruption risks.
In 20 cases, the APC found grounds to suspect criminal offenses requiring ex officio proceedings and referred them to the prosecution.
This reflects a decisive step forward by the APC both in addressing whistleblower reports and in taking concrete action against corruption.
